Reprinting Certificate or checking your score.

Log back in as Returning Student, select My Courses, look to the right-hand side blue drop down arrow and select that button. Next look under Certificate or Statistics button and click to reprint or download your certificate and check your score.

HOW TO REGISTER FOR ONLINE IN-SERVICE TRAINING

  1. Click on the “COURSES” link in the main menu to access our courses
  2. Find your course and click on the “Register“
  3. Next click on “CONTINUE REGISTRATION” button
  4. On the next page, scroll down and click on “BUY THIS COURSE” to continue to the order review page
  5. On the Order Review page, click on the “PROCEED TO CHECKOUT” button to be taken to the Registration and Payment page
  6. On the Registration and Payment page
  7. Fill out the Registration Form (Complete all the fields marked with an red ” * “)
  8. Click the “SUBMIT PAYMENT“
  9. In the popup window, enter your Credit card information and click on the “PLACE ORDER” button to process payment

You should now be re-directed to your course page to take the course.

  • To begin a course, click on the the yellow course folder
  • Read each page in each Chapter
  • After you read all pages in each Chapter, you must Mark each chapter Complete, to move to the next Chapter
  • When you get to the last Chapter in the course, click the ‘Exam’ button to begin test.
    ** After passing, your results are transmitted directly to DCJS!**
  • If you are taking a firearms class please include the caliber that you will qualify with. If you are taking online Alternative In-service training 07R, 08R, 09R, 10R you must email your Training Completion Certificate to astai.org@gmail.com and request your Range date to qualify. Click Here to review Range dates. Once you qualify your score will be entered into the school’s database and your completion will be sent to DCJS

Apply Online to DCJS directly to Renew and Pay your Renewal Application.

01I, 02I, 03I, 06I,07R, 08R, 09R, 10R, 25I, 30I, 32I, 40I, 44I Renewal Applications must be sent to DCJS 30 days before expiring.

6 VAC 20-174-50-B. If you required a Firearms Endorsement Application with your Renewal Application, renew both at the same time on the DCJS Online Regulatory system. All renewal applications and fees must be submitted to DCJS directly. When you complete the test and your certificate does not down load automatically, log out and log back in, select My Courses, then select Certificate box.

YOU MAY NOW SUBMIT YOUR RENEWAL APPLICATIONS ONLINE TO DCJS DIRECTLY USING A CREDIT CARD (VISA, MASTERCARD, AMERICAN EXPRESS, OR DISCOVER)

  1. General Instructors must send DCJS a Renewal Instructor Certification Application $25.00 plus $10.00 per category and a copy of the Training Completion Certificate. Wait for popup after completing the test. It will say you have successfully completed your test. Wait for the image to popup. Save it to your desktop. Then print it!
  2. All Firearms Instructor taking online Alternative In-Service training must complete the shooting portion by a certified DCJS Firearms Instructor. Shooting scores must be sent DCJS along with a Firearms Instructor In-Service Training Enrollment Form and Fee $50.00 and a copy of the Training Completion Certificate.
  3. 13I, 14I students need to submit Alternative Training Credit In-Service Training Fee $25.00  http://www.dcjs.virginia.gov/forms/privatesecurity/pss_wa_inService.pdf
  4. You will also have to send your Training Completion Diploma provide at the end of the test to the DCJS training Department. You can log into your DCJS profile and upload the Diploma.
  5. Send to DCJS with the required fee and Renewal form along with a Credit Card Authorization form can be faxed to DCJS at 804-786-6344.

Pursuant to the Administrative Code 6 VAC 20-173-180-8, you have 30 days from the date of purchase (first log-on) to complete the course. If you do not complete the course in that time period, you must purchase the course again and start from the beginning.
